Your Registration Link

You will receive an email by our artist help team in the first few days of your page being live on the platform. This email will include your link to register with Tipalti and expires after 24 hours so make sure you complete this as soon as you can. 


Setting up your account

You'll be guided through a 3 step registration process and be asked to enter your contact information and payment method. Of the three options available to choose with Tipalti you really only need to look at two (Paypal and eCheck), however some of the terminology can be a bit confusing:

 

Paypal: There is a a threshold of $50 USD, this means that if your payment is under $50 we will hold the payment for you to ensure that you do not get charged on small payments for Paypal fees.  (although you can adjust the threshold to a lower amount if you prefer). 

 

Please note that Fy does not cover Paypal transaction fees (2% + 2USD).  Please note that we are currently only able to issue Paypal payments in USD, so you may incur a currency exchange fee if you are not based in the US.


eCheck/ACH: equivalent to local bank transfer, all fees paid for by Fy. We have set a threshold of $50 USD. 


If you receive an invoice for under 50.00 please contact finance@iamfy to confirm this will be paid once your invoices are accumulated to over 50.00.


The other options are:

 

Wire transfer - only to be used when eCheck is not available (this is for countries where eCheck is not supported) incurs large fees to be paid by the payee.

 

If you are in the US you will not have the eCheck option but instead you have ACH which is a local wire transfer in USD, again all fees are paid by Fy


Your first invoice

Reports are sent out via email to artists on or around the 16th of each month for your sales in the previous month. 


Understanding your Tipalti

The invoices are added to Tipalti a few days before you are due to be paid, they will show as pending until the due date arrives to be paid and then it will show as submitted. Once set up you can log in to check on the status of payments, download remittances or change your banking details.


Your first payment 

All accrued sales during the invoice period will be paid by Project J, to your chosen payment method in our payment platform Tipalti, by the end of the following month.

For example, all orders shipped in June will be listed in a sales report that is sent mid July. You will receive the payment for the June invoice by the end of August.


Please note: Payments can land in your account up to 3 working days after payments have been sent depending on your bank account so please wait to contact us.
